This is my long lost grandfather. My mother never knew him. I would be forever grateful if a kind person could restore this well loved photo. Lesley

Hi,
The photo is of William George Beaumont, licensee of the Shades Tavern, The Old Wharf, Hobart, Tasmania. The photographer is most probably Stephen Spurling snr. B 1821. His son Stephen was in Launceston by this time.
