Tipperary / Re: O'Mara and Godfrey, Nenagh: Help please
« on: Thursday 16 January 25 11:04 GMT (UK)  »
Thank you Wexflyer and Bearkat.

My source for the marriage seems to be the same as Beerkat's! Catholic family, registers of Nenagh.

Bearkat - are the baptisms you give also from the Nenagh registers?

Thank you again
Ian

Tipperary / O'Mara and Godfrey, Nenagh: Help please
« on: Wednesday 15 January 25 22:48 GMT (UK)  »
I am very much a beginner to Irish genealogy, and would value some help, please.

I believe my great great grandparents,
Richard O'MARA and Mary GODFREY
married at Nenagh on January 14th 1858.

By the mid 1860s they are living in County Durham, England.

I am keen to find out more about their Irish ancestry but am not having much luck.
It would seem that Richard was born about 1822 and mary about 1835.

Thank you, and best wishes.
Ian

Thank you so much to those who have taken time to work on the photo for me.
I appreciate your kindness.

I would be very grateful if someone could kindly sharpen / tidy this image for me.
It is of a house in Yorkshire where I believe ancestors called CRAIG worked for a time as servants.

I am happy with B & W, rather than colorisation.
Thank you all.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Cockfield, County Durham

Friends,

This photo is of a village in County Durhamwith strong family connections.
I'd like a tidier copy for my family history photo album.

It would be lovely if it could be 'tidied up' a little, please.
So less gray, more black and white. Some blemishes (for example in sky) tidied.
Also if possible I'd like the word 'Cockfield' removed.

Thank you so much.  :)

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Hackney Church about 1915
« on: Wednesday 07 December 22 22:00 GMT (UK)  »
I have this image of a church in Hackney for my Family History album.
I wondered if a kind person would be able to sharpen it / make it less grainy for me.
Thank you.
