hi,just randomly saw your post through google,im a mccann  I am not terribly familiar with my family background but my grandad's name was john mccann. I've often heard my father talking about my grandad john originating in county Armagh. Don't know if i can be of any help to you but if you'd like to get in touch maybe my dad would be of some help.thanks,Lisa
