Hi Abhanliath

I take you mean Frances Whelan and not Fan Whelan. My great grandmother was Annie Whelan and one of her daughters was named Frances Whelan. They lived in Emerald Square, Dolphin's Barn, Dublin. Let me know if that is who you are referring to.

Hi Dathai

I bought the glasnevin details extended plus image in relation to below

There appears to be a Marianne McCarthy buried Glasnevin 1866 when entering Beresford as part of address she was about 70 yrs old
http://www.glasnevintrust.ie/genealogy/results/index.xml

Unfortunately I got no next of kin for Maranne McCarthy just her age no details of how she died etc
looks like one page was digitalised only for this record
I did get the following

Glasnevin 1866 Burial

Marianne McCarthy Age 70
Residence 50 Beresford St

Also some of Frederick and Teresa Rooney's children
who are in the grave and died young

Patrick Rooney age 3 died 24 May 1874 20 North Anne St
Mary Rooney age 6 died 2 Aug 1874 20 North Anne St
Teresa Rooney age 1 died 16 Aug 1874 20 North Anne St

There is also (and could be one of their children as they had
Francisca Rooney b 28 Oct 1856) not sure about this one
Frances Rooney Age 7 died 30 Dec 1863 45 Simpsons Court

Mary Rooney Age 2 months died 3 Aug 1864 50 Beresford St
again could be one of their children

Anne Sharp Aged 76 died 28th Dec 1860
78 Lr Exchange St
Teresa Rooney's mother was Teresa Sharp (who married John Moore)
so could Anne Sharp could be a relative.

So I am really stumped on this Marianne McCarthy who is registered as grandmother on some
births of Frederick Rooney and Teresa Moore nee Rooney children births.
I am thinking Marianne comes from the male side (frederick rooney) and maybe remarried but who knows.

Hopefully somebody may add or help me. Brickwall

Regards and thank you

Hi Jervis

Does the name Marianne McCarthy or Mary Anne McCarthy mean anything to you as it has comes up on registered births and she is listed as grandmother on

Mary Elizabeth Rooney b 1864 and John Rooney B 1865

who were siblings your Charles Rooney B 1859
and would also be grandmother to Charles.

Dublin / Margaret Hanlon nee Campbell or Jackson NEED HELP PLEASE
« on: Friday 23 September 16 21:54 BST (UK)  »
Margaret Hanlon nee Campbell with husband Bernard Hanlon

On births of children she is listed below as Margaret Hanlon formerly Campbell

On their marriage according to this record Margaret's maiden name is Jackson

https://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/3b5a860083609

So is Margaret’s maiden name Campbell or Jackson

Thought Margaret may have been married prior to marrying Bernard Hanlon but
I cannot find nothing to support this.

Margaret and Bernard Hanlon on 1901 and 1911 census with husband Bernard Hanlon

Would appreciate help on this one.

Looks like Christopher Mays' parents are Owen May and Rosanna/Roseanna Hoey thanks to yourself and Shane.

Correction to the above should be
Looks like Christopher Mays' parents are Owen May and Martha
