Hi everyone thanks for your response I was hoping to find Mary had some family and you have given me hope.
to pet50ite, I think that site is the one I got the records fore Alice and Peter.

to hasta, did the site say Mary's second name was Anne, because my Mary's second name was Jane.

to eadaoin, thanks for the Bow Street address.
Mr Jamison from the Jamison Brewery in Bow street was mentioned on Mary's papers in relationship to sponsorship to Australia and her father Thomas Kiernan was a distiller.      The other person who sponsored her was her Uncle Michael Kelly who was married to Anne Murray,   probably her mother's sister.

I have been wanting to come to Ireland for the last 3 years but want to know about my ancestors before I come.      Getting closer now.

regards and many thanks

???Hi everyone I have found two people whom I think are my g.g.grandmother's brother and sister, names Peter baptised 1863 and Alice 1869.      I think the parish was St Pauls Dublin.      However by my research this is closed to the public.      What would be my best bet to get the info on their birth and baptism.        I am in Australia any help most appreciated.        Father Thomas Kiernan.     Mother Catherine Murray

hi, sorry I did not get back to you before this.      Thanks for your replies.

Yes Macw he was young the ship record had him as 30years old and I believe they rounded up their ages so he could have been even younger.

I wonder if anyone would have any info about what type of buildings might have been at 66 Cook Street Auckland.       Ihave looked on google earth and it looks as if there are factories there now.
My gran's brother was living there at the time of his death in 1950

Hi so happy to have any leads, seeing his name in the adds for the theatre has given me another clue.      He would have been 44 when this show was on so it seems he must have had a career in theatre.    I may even be able to find a picture of him.  It also lets me know that he was in N.Z in 1928.

thanks everyone
