Hello finta

I've just seen your post about your grandparents living at 11 Tamar Terrace in St Budeaux, Plymouth. I live just round the corner from Normandy Way and although Tamar Terrace isn't there anymore, I've found this link on the Plymouth City Council website of a planning application from 1920 regarding 7 Tamar Terrace becoming 70 Normandy Way. Once the snow and ice ease I'll have a walk up there and try to work out where  your grandparents' house would have been.

Thanks so much, Jan. I didn't know if I'd get any replies, but to get one and so quickly is fantastic.

Thanks again

Sussex Lookup Requests / Pannell family, Arundel
« on: Monday 04 January 10 13:34 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to trace my 3x great-grandfather, Charles Pannell. His son, also Charles, was born in 1830/31 and married and settled in Devon. Charles junior is recorded on the 1891 census (the only one I can find him on) as being born in Arundel. Charles senior is recorded on his son's marriage certificate from 1855 as a farmer.

Can anyone advise on how i can proceed? I am in Devon so access to parish registers isn't possible. My search is also hindered by the fact that the family is also recorded as Pannel, Panell and Parnell.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Kind regards
