Aberdeenshire Lookup Requests / George Hutchison, born December 1864 at St Nicholas Poor House Aberdeen

This is what I know

George Hutchison was born at St Nicholas Poor House, Aberdeen on December 9,1864 to Margaret Hutchison. I can't find them together in a Cencus after this date.
George is my great g_father. He married Agnes Maywood 11 October 1889 in Lochee, Dundee. His name on the Marriage Certificate was recorded as George Hutchison Cowie, born in Aberdeen with his mother recorded as Margaret Hutchison and his father recorded as John Cowie. George was illegitimate.
Any information that helps to show whether George left the Poor House with his mother Margaret or did they leave separately would be helpful. How did George end up in Dundee and was he with his mother? Did she marry?
Any help would be fantastic.

I can confirm that Eliza Street is not the same Elizabeth St. Eliza Street is a small street that runs between Albert Street and Dura Street. Dundee

Hello again Sheenie,

I moved from Dundee to Calgary, Canada about four years ago. I moved house a few months ago and all of my family tree information is packed in boxes. I have a lot on information on the Maywood/Meninch line that I can share with you.

My maiden name is Cowie. George Hutchison Cowie (the one that you are talking about, I think) had a son, George Hutchison Cowie he married Jean or Jane Langlands Ogilvie from Glamis, Angus and they had ten children, one my father. One of his brothers was also called Robert and he died  maybe about 7/8 years ago in Calgary. My father and one aunt are both still alive and here in Calgary. There is one other surviving sister living in Dundee. I will have to find all of my information and share with you. There are a couple of Mininish's still living in Dundee.

Hi Sheenie,

I am related to this line. My Grandfather is George Hutchison Cowie, he is a son of the Cowie/Maywood line. I believe that your Robert and my grandfather were brothers.
