Durham Lookup Requests / Re: OTTOWELL family in 19th century Spennymoor

Thanks Jennifer for taking so much trouble.  Finding the spelling mistake in the name is very useful and this has also uncovered an extra child we didn't know about.   Yes we can't find Benjamin's death and that's the current difficulty.  I hoped a discovery of an MI in Spennymoor churchyard would solve it.  So I remain hopeful.  But thanks again for the part you've played.   Rogerina

Durham Lookup Requests / OTTOWELL family in 19th century Spennymoor

I am looking for the burial place of Benjamin OTTOWELL, possibly in Spennymoor.   His date of death is unknown but he was alive in the early 1870s aged around 30 so could have survived well into the 1900s.   He had a wife Hannah and children Elizabeth and Joseph.   Thank you,  Rogerina

OK Adam.  That's fine;  I was interested in burials of around a hundred or more years ago so have no particular interest in modern ones.  Thank you for your trouble.   Rogerina

Thanks Stan.  The first snowy picture's lovely but gives a chilling idea of the climate in the north-east!  Rogerina
