thank you for that victor    james avery was my gr grandfather he died in 1871 at eastleach turville and is buried at st andrews church there.  still curious why ann wakefield wasn,t at bibury as shown on 1851 census for her birthplace.  but will see if i can find out some more info thanks again   bruce avery

who was williams father and who was anns father at marriage ....... in 1851  census  at bourton on water william was 92  b 1759 langford berkshire  and ann b 1770  ablington bibury gloucestershire  also son william on same census  age 48 b 1803  baptised jan 3 1803 at cirencester gloucestershire with wife sarah and 8 kids.  sorce on marriage for william and ann  family  search batch number 7308102 sheet67 source call 0822724  type film.  also daughter ann avery born coln st. aldwyn baptised  sept 7 1800  indexing (project) batch number C 02760-1 system origin england odm source film number 425382

thank you victor.  You have stirred the  pot  lol     i will try to clarify my john large b1825 he was a shepherd as was his wife elizabeth(kent) large b 1826  in 1881 census they were living at langford berkshire at that time. my grandmother emily was there b october 11  1867 at horton gloucestershire  and matthew b1871  at calmsden gloucestershire.   bruce avery

looking for birth or baptism for john large 1825 woodmancote gloucestershire like to know parents  also elizabeth kent born 1826 cirencester   john and elizabeth were married 1847 at cirencester gloucestershire. have marriage certificate for them says johns father john large and elizabeths father john kent    witness henry large  b 1826  johns brother.  regards  bruce avery ( avery me)  these are my grandmother  emily (large)  avery b 1867 horton gloucestershire parents

thank you for the information  with regards to sarah and james avery , i have aquired jane averys death certificate  from 1860 she died in brize norton oxfordshire so will chase parish burials  at that location. she is my great grandmother... thank you again for your time  regards bruce avery belleville ontario canada

try local health unit for journal of relatives care during his stay at talgarth should give you addmission date as well as discharge if he didn,t die at the facility,  perhaps a picture of the patient on admission   Powys archives in brecknockshire has address, also in earlier postn  here.
