Pembrokeshire Lookup Requests / looking for Caroline George nee Huzzey Death
« on: Tuesday 30 July 24 17:46 BST (UK)  »
Hello all.I have traced my Caroline's from birth in 1823 in Burton Pembs. Through her marriage to Richard George and finally to her being widowed and living with her son Alfred and his family in St Mary Pembs in 1891. She is 68 years old.
Then she disappears.
All her children remain in the area except one who moves to Portsmouth.
I cannot think where she could be....I've looked through the Burton parish records page by page but they end in 1895.

Anyone have any ideas as to what to de next or where she is?
Peter

Thanks for the info BumbleB.

As most of the sites were closed upto 1803 except for St Florence, do you think it is a possibility she was there? I'm assuming St Florence is the place about 11 miles and across the river. I know, all speculation!!!

Pembrokeshire Lookup Requests / Huzzey of Burton, Pembrokeshire

I'm following up on some old data I had about an Elizabeth Huzzey b.1813: baptised 2 March 1813 in Burton, Pembrokeshire. The record shows under 'Abode', the word which looks like Hospital. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is, or where this is?

Many thanks  :) chempat for your reply.

The answer is yes, I have signed up to the local Face book page requesting info and sent messages to the local History group, but not really getting anywhere.

 :) ;) :D :-*
Thank you Sally.
Another one for the collection... It really is quite amazing the efforts you all make that bring these long gone relatives back to life with colour.

Thank you again

Hi Carol
I may have closed my post a little early without a proper thank you for your work on the picture.  I now have two works of art. Your frame really does suit the picture which has been cleaned up so well.
I really must find out how to do the things you both did. But then I would spoil your fun and pleasure so had better not.

So again thank you so much.

In the next day or so I will have some more pictures of what I believe to be the same family for you to date for me . Boring men this time

Peter
