Got the death certificate, thanks.  Interesting to have details of the will.   Where did you access it as I have long been looking for a will for another ancestor with no luck.

Can you confirm the sum of money in the will please.

Scotland / James Heron RSA help please
« on: Friday 02 January 26 15:20 GMT (UK)  »
I am researching James Heron artist. I located his birth certificate and he was born 27th June 1847 in the Parish of St Cuthberts Edinburgh.  Parents William Heron and Mary Brown.  I am unable to find his death certificate on SP and he may have died circa 1919.  I believe he always lived in Edinburgh and he may have been unmarried,  I have him on a census in 1891 age 44 living with his sister Clara at 64 Frederick Street.  In 1901 he is living at 1 Warrender Park Terrace with his brother Colin and a sister called Martha.  He painted lots of Scottish landscapes.
I am struggling to find death certificate for him. I welcome any help.

Thanks for input. In this case mother was younger and don’t think she would be in area when due to give birth. Maybe it was for health reasons. Just curious and interested in other views. Thanks

Why would a first time mother who lived in a small country village be taken over 20 miles to a city maternity hospital to give birth when it was usual to have home births. NHS services started in 1948.

Thank you

Thank you all for information. I use compatible cartridges and printer reminds me of this, but they are accepted. I will try a new cartridge and hopefully that will solve problem. Some interesting information.

Technical Help / Printer ink cartridges Help please

Have an Epsom XP352 printer. Two cartridges required replacing. It accepted one cartridge (they are identical) and rejected the magenta one. Tried taking out and reinserted but doesn’t work.
Is this a fault with printer and should I buy new one.

Many thanks
