Got a bundle of Strichen born Woodmans if any one needs them. Must be related to Forglen families I'd have thought being about a score miles between ?

Hi, Fransmoi

Yes, I've seen the Strichen Woodmans on IGI and wondered about them. They may even be the original bunch. Mine emanate from Turriff and some ended up in Forglen, some in Auchterless (that we know of!) My own direct line developed in Rathven. Apparently the family dropped the "man" about 1800 or possibly slightly earlier.

I'd certainly be very interested in information you can share -
