Hi there
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a grave in South Ealing Cemetery? Have trawled the net to find a layout of the plots but cannot fid one.
Cheers

Hiya Lewy,
You could do worse than direct your enquiry to Chris Elias at Ealing Bereavement Service. MOST helpful to me recently when looking for a grave at Acton Cem.
Email: Cemeteries@ealing.gov.uk
I wish you all the luck in your search.

Many thanks - I'll give him a go!

Hiya.
How did you get on?
-
Got one! Found the grave too which if I had left it any later I wouldn't have as could only see last three letters of the surname due to IVY coverage - got out the scissors and tidied it all up - not bad for a 106 year old grave!!
Many thanks for the suggestion!

Brilliant, nice to hear it. I shall be going there myself in the new year to find and photograph some of my lot.
All the very best,
Fulhamster.

well if I can help let me know (ie send you the map) - incidentally ... I have been helping a friend with her tree - she has Pocock's in Fulham around 1840's - of any interest?

Hiya,
I would be really gratefull both for a copy of the map and to be put in touch with your freind who is interested in the Fulham POCOCKs. How do we go about sending private messages {for addresses etc} on this site? I belong to BG Forums and they have the facilities to do it.
By the way, my POCOCKs were linked to my FIELDs by marriage although my FIELDS were from Cuckfield, Sussex.
If you know how I can give you my email/phone please let me know.
All the very, very best,
Reg Norman.

Hiya Lewy ;D
How's that for a coincidence. The freind you introduced to me had bumped into me whilst at Kew one day. We had chatted breifly but I was in a hurry to get away so could not stay long. We knew each other straight away when talking on the phone. How strange. Anyway, I have promised to give her all the information that I have and YES we are definitely related. I hope to be meeting her sometime next week. many thanks for that AND many thanks for the map.
Your Servant ma'am,
Fulhamster.
