What info are you looking for?

pre or post 1901?

Do you have them in the 1901 census with four children (Mary, Thomas, Sydney, Eliza...)?

 :)

Hi Baz

I've got a Jane Liddington b1872 Hardingstone marrying Frederick Charles Culverhouse in 1892.

Is this the connection you are looking for.

The parish of Hardingstone in 1872 covered the whole of Northampton south of the river Nene until the parish of St Mary's was created.

Frederick was born in Chesham in 1869 one of four illegitimate children of Esther Culverhouse who eventually married Thomas White in Northampton in 1887.  In 1881 she was living at 59 Market Street shown as married, but no husband was present and boarding in the household was Thomas White with his daughter Maria White aged 9 also shown as married.

Esther was the daughter of Thomas Culverhouse through his second marriage to Elizabeth Rackley.  The family can be traced back to Richard Culverhouse born circa 1640 probably in Edlesborough Bucks who was also my ancestor.

Send me a PM with your email address if you want more.

There is an interesting death on the CWG site:

http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=522938

The dates etc fit with Thomas Herbert the son of Frederick and Jane but the  mother's names are wrong.  It also shows Frederick as dead by 1916 or just after.

On further checking I think it is the right person as Thomas married Annie Elizabeth Perkins in 1913 and so there is some confusion between his wife and mother
