Post by: wollaton on Thursday 06 October 05 22:16 BST (UK)
l am looking for a boatman, John Dolloway aged 20 in 1871. l think he died in 1880 and his wife appears to have remarried and taken the children with her.  In 1881 she is Mrs Edwin HOBRO( a mistranscription surely???) Thank you for your time.. Carol in Nottm

thank you so much Keith l am so excited that the name of the boat is on there too.  l am hoping this is the correct John. l will check the gro index to see if there are any other John Dolloaway/dallaways registerd a  few years later.  l realize their ages were not always correctly written or given. Wow you are a star.. Carol in Nottm

John Dolloway was buried at Astwood rd Cemetery (reference no: 12825) on 12th February 1880, aged 29. His address is given as Beaver Row, St peter's parish.  St Peters church failed to keep a record of their parish records for may years, hence the only record that exists is the Astwood Rd reference.
