I'm trying an elimination approach to locate an ancestor.
I have 2 John HALLETTs, both on 1841 census at Bridport, one (aged 14 in 1841) at North Allington P.B. Allington, father Robert (49) and mother Ann(49) HO107-0280 ED7 folio8 pg12, and the other, aged 12 in1841, at East St., father Francis (46) and mother Louisa (40) HO107-0294 ED1 folio3 pg21.
My John HALLETT had moved to Guernsey by1851.
Could you lookup these John H. and verify whether each is on the 1851 Census, please?

Your second John Hallett was still around in 1851, but by then in East Street.
Francis HALLETT (59) Twine spinner b.couldn't read the name

John HALLETT (22) Comber b.Bridport
