I'd be very grateful to receive 1851 census information on any or all of the wevell family in St Winnow, Cornwall.
-
51 scans are very hard to read. I can see what looks like

That was quick! Many thanks for trying. I think there must have been at least 3 Wevell households in the village.

OK Ive been through it again. The first section is nearly unreadable but I don't think there are any in it. The second section only one possible Looks more like first letter M than W but I suspect it is as the rest is evele Richard and Elizabeth if that sounds right I will type it up...If not sorry I can't see any more...Kris
-
I think there should be a Richard with wife Elizabeth + 3 children (Thomas, Elizabeth & James) as well as Thomas & Susan (+ William, Mary & Elizabeth) and Elizabeth (widow) and offspring.
-
mmm don't know kids don't match

That's it - many thanks. I think Jane May aged 5 must have been step-daughter rather than Mother-in-law!!!
-
Yes they refer to them as Daughter/Son in Law instead of Step Son/Dau. That is what is meant. I have been through 3 times now and I am convinced there are no more in the parish
All the Best...........Kris :D
