Hi
I'm doing a bit of housekeeping and wondering whether you're still looking for this information or found in the meantime? If you're still looking, do you have any further information that might help locate it?
If I don't hear from you in a while I'll move this to 'Completed' assuming the information is no longer required.
Regards
Biker

Hi,
Sorry to take a while to get back but have been having computer probs.
I am still looking for Mudd in Stepney/Bethnal Green, 1841.
I have an address for Wiliam and Jane in October 1842 of 7 William St, Bethnal Green. William was a sawyer at his time. They do not to my knowledge have any children at this point. Other than what I have already posted I have no other info. If you can help I would be very grateful. :D. Yvonne

Hello Cissellby,
This could be the William I am looking for before he was married, the dates could tie in. I have several William Mudds taken from the IGI who could be my man and a birth date of cica 1818 ties in with one of those. I have also discovered, since I posted yesterday that he did not marry until 1843, so this looks a good possibility!
Many thanks :D Yvonne

Hello Again,
Just a quick query, you give a ref HO107/692/8/26. I assume this is for a disc. I understand the first part, but what do the 692/8/26 refer to? I have been considering purchasing the 1841 London census, do you know if it's been indexed yet? Sorry for all the questions.
One fly in the ointment with the William at this ref, is that it appears his father was called John, but I am certain thatr his father too was a William and his mother a Jane. On the bright side though, his fathers middle name seems to vary between James and John so it could still be my man. :-\
Many thanks again, Yvonne

Hia
Just noticed your old post 2006. My Mudd family go back to Shotley/Erwarton Suffolk and moved about between Ipswich and London during early 1800's. My 3x great grandfather John Mudd, Wife Jane, son William, and daughters Patience, jane and Emma ended up at Morpeth St. Bethnal Green C1841. John's eldest son John Isaac Mudd (My 2x great grandfather) Spent the rest of his life in Ipswich raising a family, and starting a long line of Mudd butchers'. Eventually my Mudd family came to London c1905 and settling at in the Shadwell area during WW2.
If this is of any interest please email me and I would be pleased to help. David Mudd
