I am sorry you haven't had a reply to your request yet. Could you give us some more information please?
Do you have dates of Birth for the family, even a guess will help, do you have theem in any other census? where?
I am sure now this has been moved to the top of the board someone will help you with the 1851.

Hi Newbie
George Hawkins born about 1792 Wokingham
George was christened on the 7/12/1792 and he married Helena 5/7/1812 .
1861 Census George is head of household (Helena not on census, may have died) living with
son Frederick born 1830 Wokingham
Daughter Lucy born abt 1834 Wokingham
Grandson William
Visitor Ellen
l was hoping someone might have the 1851 census to see who was in the family house then.
l have found info that the brothers and sisters of Frederick were Walter b 1835, Lucy b.1833, Lydia b.1829, Thomas b.1826, Edwyn b.1824, Maria b.1822,Robert b.1820, George b.1818, William b.1815, Elizabeth b.1813.
Thanks for asking,
Kim

Hi
From 1851 census - Wokingham HO107/1693 Fo 218
George Hawkins 50 Mar Head Fellmonger
Lucy Hawkins 56 wife Mar
Fred Hawkins 20 Un Son Lab
Walter Hawkins 16 Un Son Lab
all born Wokingham
so it looks as though George remarried after Helena to a Lucy

Hi Debbie and Newbie
Thanks Debbie for your help, l hadn't even thought of George getting married again. l wonder what a Fellmonger is.
Was there an address on the census? l know a lot of the Hawkins lived in Rose Street in Wokingham.
Thanks Newbie, l'm patient so will wait to see if you can find anything from the 1841 (as you will see my original message was August 2004 and l hadn't had a reply until you and Debbie).

Hi Kim,
I checked the 1841 census for you yesterday, HO 107/28/15 (BRO ref)
all of Rose street, - checked some pages twice as writing quite faded in places, no sign of your Hawkins family.
Did find this but almost impossible to be certain it was Hawkins,
Robert Hawkins, Rose Street, age 20, Mason, lab. b in County Yes.
sorry :(
