I'm not sure whether this is the right place to put this post but I am happy to do lookups for anyone wanting cemetery records from the Marlborough District Council. Their database includes cemeteries in Picton, Blenheim, Seddon and Ward.
There are also several more cemeteries in the district that are not administered by the council and therefore are not included in their database. These are: Kaituna (Renwick), Wairau Valley, Upper Wairau/Renwick, Rai Valley, Maori Island (Grovetown), Waikawa (Picton), Rapaura Anglican, Rapaura Methodist, Deep Creek and Manaroa (Pelourus Sound). I have a list of contact details for these cemeteries.

Hello...
Welcome to Rootschat :)
If you've not seen it, many Upper Wairau cemetery headstones have been photographed.

Hopefully you can use the website as a starting point.

Thanks for your response. I have already tried that website, but the name I am looking for is not listed.
Cheers

Hi again...
That's a nuisance.
The NZSG Cemetery CD has only 590-ish records for Upper Wairau (taken from microfiche N02.24). I was hoping that the website having 800-ish records would be more helpful.
The CD does have 1300-ish entries that mention the word "Wairau" so maybe your name might be mentioned there.
If you don't mind posting a name you can always start a new thread on the main NZ board. You've posted to an old thread on the "Completed Threads" board. People mainly keep an eye out for new threads on the main NZ board.
Assuming you're logged in, to start a new thread just...
Click on the big blue "New Topic" button next to the "New Poll" button...

Actually it's more teal than blue but who's counting :-)
Good luck
