Think the top one should be Malton ;D will have a look at the original.

Ellen has me beaten :'(
Think the wife also came from Malton and Jonathan came from Hessle. But you are right Arranroots the writing is more of a scribble.

i a tracing a family of Peter Dickinson born Lancashire, who had daughter Sarah dickinson born 1866 Ince/aspull lancashire. Sarah went on to marry my g grandfather Richard Cass born 1862 Coulton yorkshire, when they married they lived in durham and had 5 children Ernest, lily, ivy, amy and martha, who was my maternal grandmother. If this is the same line as yours please reply

Hi
I can't see an immediate link. But I do know that there was an early Dickinson/Cass link at some point in Ampleforth which is a small village just down the road from Coulton.
However I am afriad I do not recognise any of the names you mention. Do you know any of the ancestors of Peter Dickisnon?
:)
