I'm looking for any details on a spirit merchant's, owned by William Robert Ferris, between 1901 & 1911 in the York Street / York Road areas of Belfast?
Any information even on where to look would be appreciated.
Thanks

Some rum questions appear on the boards of this site and this one certainly is amongst those worthy of the Gold Medal. The obvious place to go would be a historical society in that area but there have been so many changes in that locality there may not be such a society. There is one at Sailortown in the Docks area of the city and a member of that society may know of one in the York Street / York Road locality

There is also a Newspaper library attached to the Central Library.
I hope some of the places whose web sites are shown above may be able to assist you
