Title: JAMES JOHNSTONE ANDERSON 1920

Lieut. JAMES JOHNSTONE ANDERSON, Seaforth Highlanders, died on 16 Jan 1920.
Aged 26, he was the son of Andrew Anderson with an address at 14 Arthurstone Terrace, Dundee.

James died in hospital at Pendyffryn Hall, near Penmanmawr, north Wales.
Searches of burial registers have revealed no trace of him in Dundee municipal cemeteries.
There was (reportedly) a death notice in the Dundee Evening Telegraph of 19 Jan.

James is entitled to War Grave commemoration if proof of burial can be established.
Can anyone help?  I would be grateful for any clues.

Dundee Evening Telegraph 19th January 1920:

"At Pandyffrynn Hall, Penmeanmawr, N. Wales, on 16th inst, Lieut, James J. Anderson, Seaforth Highlanders, son of Mr and Mrs Andrew Anderson, 14 Arthurstone Terrace, Dundee - deeply regretted."

Have you tried :- Dwygyfylchi Cemetery ???

Pandyffryn Hall is associated with Dwygyfylchi Cemetery, located in Penmeanmawr, North Wales. This cemetery is adjacent to Dwygyfylchi Churchyard and is maintained by Conwy County Council.

He died of tuberculosis of 1 years duration if that is of any use to you after being transferred from another Officer's Hospital.
