Title: Wanlockhead Company of Pioneers
Post by: AuldLiar on Thursday 18 June 26 16:16 BST (UK)

Wanlockhead is a mining village in the Leadhills, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.
Apparently 150 men were recruited around 1800/1803 with a knowledge of mining and explosives.  I have so far been unsuccessful in finding a list/details of the men and their Regiment .
