The 1891 census shows William T Adams,31,in Penge, with his wife Emily.
In 1901 Louisa E (Emily) Adams is a widow,again in Penge.same road.
I cannot seem to find his death record,a family tree on Ancestry shows his death as 7 Sept 1892 Penge ??
Help please.

The 1891 shows the RD as Croydon but age is out
Deaths Sep qtr 1892
Adams William 38 Croydon 2a 139
The GRO online entry shows age as 36
You can buy a digital copy of the death cert for £3.
A William Adams did die on 7.9.1892 but he died in Norfolk

Thanks for the reply CaroleW.
A bit confused, the 1891 census shows Parish of Penge and Borough of Dulwich ?
-
It shows Dulwich as the Parliamentary Borough

Many thanks for the reply CaroleW,on Ancestry Croydon RD is not on the census itself, but it is shown on the preview, hadn't noticed that.
Thanks again.
