Hoping you can help me to find the marriage and death of Edward Wilkins b.1797 in Great Ellingham, Norfolk. Parents Edward Wilkins and Mary Carley. I have the parish record of his birth but nothing afterwards. His father's name with regard to land ownership appears frequently. There is a record of an Edward Wilkins born in Hempstead and Rector of the parish. I also see that some trees have Edward as having got married and living in Hertfordshire. I believe that both records are not the Edward I'm looking for as I can't tie either to Great Ellingham, but I could be wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have any documentary proof that he survived infancy?
The 1841 census for Edward Wilkins aged 40 living in Hempstead Norfolk has eldest child aged 7 so marriage pre- civil registration. It also shows he was not born in Norfolk
A Charlotte Wilkins aged 75 is living with them but the 1841 does not show relationships. Also not born in Norfolk

The 1851 census shows him still living in Norfolk & b Somerset. His wife was b Dorset so not your Edward

Hello Carole. No I don't, unfortunately.

The 1841 & 1851 entries are not your Edward. Charlotte was his mother
