states on the back "Billy Liddell on the left" but doesn't name the other two

don't know when or where this was taken

yet again another find in my late father's papers!

I know very little about football, but I'm assuming this is Billy LIDDELL the footballer (1922-2001). Presumably from the jackets, the other men are also footballers?

We've got a photo of an amateur football team from the I Zingari League with Billy Liddell in attendance dating from 1956 so it might be 1950s. At the time he was still a Liverpool player. Probably a VIP guest supporting a local football event possibly a cup final.

I think the man on the right is Phil Taylor. Joe Mercer and Phil Taylor were the captains of Arsenal and Liverpool respectively at the time of the 1950 FA Cup Final, and my guess is that the photo was taken around that time.
