I have been looking on FamilySearch. But many burial registers for Birkenhead Cemetery seem to be restricted now :(

If she was buried in a private grave it's likely Alfred is in the same grave. Saturday was 11th so you could check with Flaybrick cemetary whether their records show the grave number & the occupants

Hi,
You can ask the "Friends of Flaybrick" for a look up,
https://flaybrick.org/grave-search-database/
They sound very helpful.

Thanks, it says Service Unavailable.

I think it's the Grave Search Database that is unavailable, the request form is still there so you could give it a try.

When FS first allowed access to record images a lot of later dates were available (and some still are) but over time more and more records have been made unavailable. I really miss the Kelly's Directory of Liverpool for 1952. I hope Ancestry will expand their "England & Scotland, Select Cemetery Registers, 1800-2024" to include Wirral in the future.

Blue. It's your list that's been the most useful in the past, so thanks for that.
