 Have you checked the Parish Churchyard? Every one living in a Parish had the right to burial in the churchyard regardless of religion or non religion. They were often buried in an unconsecrated section.

On FreeREG;
www.freereg.org.uk

Burial;
Richard CRAGG
25 Apr 1847 Quakers, Lancaster
Age 76
Abode Langthwaite

Deceased a Farmer / Died 21 Apr 1847 / Buried at Lancaster / Witness William Ivison (Grave Maker) / Deceased not in Membership

Trish :)

EDIT;
Richard/Elizabeth childrens bapts are there also and also a likely Burial for TIMOTHY ;
1802 (Reg no 295)
It contains extra info;
Between 1772 and 1843 register number equates to location of the grave on the Lancaster Burial Ground Plan / Prior to 1818 burials are arranged in family groups so register number may assist in inferring family relationships.

+ JENNET Wife of Timothy Died 29 Jun 1823  age 83
 Buried at Wyersdale / Deceased not a Member

Like a bit of scandal;
Timothy/Jenett bapt a THOMAS 22 Dec 1763;
Note; Parents not in Unity (ie not Married?) and mother's surname uncertain - Child's surname recorded as CRAGG and father's surname assumed

Marriage is on FreeREG also;
29 Jan 1763, St Mary the Priory, Lancaster
Jeanet ASHBURN of Garstang
Timothy CRAGG Husbandman
Lic.; Bride signed surname ASHBORN

So I wonder if as they married in that Church it was not recognised by the Quakers?
