Hello.and thank you for any help you may be able to.supply.
I watch films on Prime on my Kindle Max 11 and I have had to increase the sound to maximum.on my tablet.
I have also increased the sound on my Settings Media without any results.
By the way, the YouTube sound is perfect as is Facebook reels.
What am I doing wrong please?

I do not think that you are doing anything wrong.
Sound levels are all over the place on our TV.
As an example for live TV we set it at about 12 to 15.
A Recording is then requiring 20 to 25.
Prime, Netflix and Virgin Media need anything from 20 to 60.

Thank you Biggles.
I have already set it to the maximum but without success.

Hi
I recognise this problem, it's one of my own!
You might try using headphones on the quieter videos, that's what I've resorted to and it does help.

Thank you! I should have mentioned that I use headphones.
I wonder how it they are the culprit!? I have had them for five years?! Not sure if their shelf life?
However as I mentioned above, the headphones work well when using YouTube...
