Hi there
I can locate the family with a surname spelt HONIBALL, on birth, death and marriage indexes but not on the 1921 Census, nor the 1939 Register.
William Honiball (1895-1948) married Elsie Logan (1896-1975) in 1919 and had at least two children, William Edmond (1920) & Benjamin (b&d 1921) but have had no luck with either Census. Maybe they were out of town?
Can anyone make suggestions, I have used alternate/variant spellings of the surname.

Cheers for that, I have tracked them both back to Glasgow, William John Forrester Davidson was also Scottish!

So Richard may have been born in Canada.
;D I've seen a reference to Richard Honiball on a commercial genealogical site that indicates he was born in 1927 in Quebec....but I can't realistically track him, another reference claims he was born in 1915. But thanks for looking!
