Title: Sharpen image please
Post by: seahall on Wednesday 04 February 26 08:45 GMT (UK)
Hi I wondered if anyone could please help make this image sharper. I know it is a relative from Lancashire England. T.I.A. Sandy

Moving this up on the board for someone to work wonders on.

Hope this is okay, Sandy. There were some places in the photo where I couldn't distinguish damage from detail so I either made it up or covered it up. ;D So don't look too close!

I am trying to remove my image as a family member objected to it being here. I asked Sarah to remove the post but she did answer my request to remove it although she informed me of another matter.

The Modify button for each post (next to the Quote button) only appears for 24 hours after your post, so, yes, contacting Sarah either by the Moderator button or by PM becomes the only way to go. The mods are busy people with their own lives so they may not be able to reply promptly at times. However, there have been a few members commenting lately that they have had trouble contacting a moderator, making them wonder whether there is some other problem lurking. Just keep trying is all I can suggest.

Thanks Peter. I did hear back from Sarah on another matter at the same time.
I am aware of mods having their own lives.  I am leaving the forum after being a member
since 2004. I have enough issues of my own to deal with.
Thanks for your advice.

This was my message to Sarah yesterday.

Sandy, sincere wishes to you in coping with the issues on your plate. Perhaps you'll be able to return here at same point. I think it's a great website with most people being friendly and polite, sadly not all that common today.

Cheers,
Peter

Thanks Peter.

I know Rootschat has been a life line to me and more importantly Sarah who is co-owner of the site.

It was a hard decision but necessary. All the best to all the rootchatters.

Hi Sandy,
I'm so sorry to hear that you have decided to leave Rootschat  :-\ You have been on here a couple years longer than I have which is a long time. I can't comment on your decision to leave only to say that maybe you should just take a break for a little while.
The trouble with messages as well as emails is, that the content can be ambiguous and the meaning can often be misconstrued.
The Moderators must have a lot of work to do behind the scenes and therefor it takes time for them to get round to answering queries. I think that you have just been unlucky that the person didn't see the benefits what can be achieved.
Unless the person is named and the photo isn't recent then there shouldn't be a problem.
Stay with us, its a great playground with a lot of friendly helpful people, and a place to connect with them during this cold, wet and miserable time of year.
Great photo and I love the Charabanc  8)
Keep Smiling  :)
