Harold Dobson born 3 July 1901, pretty sure that's right. Born Yedingham.
Married Edith Sigsworth on 22 August 1931. Edith was born 2 May 1906.
They had a son Noel G Dobson Dec 1932.
Have searched every combination that I can think of and cannot find them in 1939.
Any help would be much appreciated

She was Edith May Sigsworth -
there is this possible death - unless you know she died after 1939??
Deaths Jun 1938
DOBSON Edith M 34 Bradford 9b 172
Ignore - the death was Edith Mary Dobson

In 1921 Harold Dobson was a wireless operator.
A Harry Dobson and Edith M Dobson were traveling to Abadan, Iran around ww2 era connected with the oil industry. Perhaps they were out of the UK for the 1939 Register.

Try Orbson on FindMyPast Harold & Edith M both have the dates of birth you have quoted
also Annie E Segsworth :-\

Brilliant find Rosie99!
If you have A**y not FindMyPast you can find them by looking for Annie E Sigsworth, 1918 in York. There is something odd about the transcription, and the Dobsons seem to have been missed.
Oh! just noticed Rosie99 has mentioned Annie too (was this added or did I completely overlook it?)

Fantastic thank you, only have ancestry but found with the tips. Very much appreciated.
