Hello everbody,
I've been researching my family history over here in Ireland, and i have found that one of our ancestors (Alfred Patrick McCambridge) moved to Timaru, Canterbury in the early 1900s. I don't really know where to look for more information, so any advice on where i should start?
P.S. i have some old letters and plenty of photos from Timaru, so if there is any NZ McCambridges reading this just DM me and i'll send you some scans.
Thanks a million
Conn

Here it is arriving. https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/THD19091231.2.14?end_date=05-01-1910&items_per_page=10&query=Tongariro+&snippet=true&start_date=29-12-1909

Thanks lads & Lassess
That's a great help, thank y'all so much :)
Interesting you should send me that photo from the Timaru Herald, mckha489 - we still have the original over here in Ireland, over 80 years later!
All the best,
Conn

There are still some people presumably of the family you are researching still in Timaru.
So that I can send the names and addresses by personal message, you will have to put up two more posts. A 😊 in each will do the trick.
