I wonder if someone could help me decipher the attached record. I assume Victory IV was the training establishment and he ended up in Portnahaven. He was a signalman.
Struggling with the middle line. I wonder if this is another shore based establishment but would appreciate a fresh pair of eyes.

Pres 111 is the pay and admin dept for the RNVR - not an actual ship it was a "stone frigate"
I think he will have been shore based at a Telegraph station up on (Islay) Portnahaven on the coast of Scotland
He may well have seen some tragedy with these two US Troopship losses
