Title: Confirmation of Date in Latin
Post by: rkraeuatzd on Tuesday 06 January 26 14:14 GMT (UK)
Hi everyone,

I think the date in the attachment says the 10th with a lead-in stroke, right?

Grateful if anyone can confirm or correct.

Richard

&c = etc. In this context it stands for

... dei gratia anglie francie et hibernie fidei defensoris ...

... by the grace of god [queen] of England, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith ...
