Hi Everyone,
Ive hit the ‘brickwall’ with a relative of mine and wonder if anyone may kindly be able to help me find out what became of her, as it is a mystery in our family. Her name is Hannah Louisa Outen b 1907, Tottenham and by 1921 her family were living at 15 Waggon Lane, with parents Charles Outen and Louisa. In 1931, (age 23), I believe she was living/working with a family at 50, Brook Street,Hammersmith, London. There is a rumour in our family that she later became an air stewardess, but I cannot confirm this.
Any information or guidance will be gratefully appreciated.

Not sure if you have this info but if not you are welcome
Have you found the family on any other census?
At home with parents 1921, have you thought she might have either gone abroad or married abroad

Do you have her exact date of birth as she could possibly have just changed her surname and moved in with someone. The dob would help with searches on the 1939 register.
c1931 she was in the household of Ellen Martin at 59 Brook Green, Hammersmith.
The register for October 1931-1932 shows that Rupert C Martin is also in the property, a further register in 1932 shows that she no longer qualifies to vote at that address. Rupert C Martin married Ellen Wood in 1931.

Poss death of her father Charles 1952, have you looked for a will, or a newspaper report on his death, she might get a mention .
Just a thought
