Ann Hammerton was baptised in 1753 at Botley.
She is mentioned in her father Thomas' will as the wife of Samuel Pallet. For those who have access to Ancestry the will can be seen here

I can't find this marriage.
I've searched Ancestry, FindMyPast, Familysearch, Freereg and the HGS parish records transcriptions but could have missed it. No Ancestry trees have a marriage for her.
There aren't many Pallets in Hampshire so she may have married away from her home parish.
Can anyone find a marriage for them?

Where and when were children born to Ann and Samuel Pallet?
What was the date of the father's will?
-
Her father's will made in 1779 and was proved in 1804.
I do not know any children born to Samuel & Ann. This is a side branch of my family.

For those searching
The will was written 14 December 1797 and proved 1804
Possible burial 2 February 1798
His wife also named Ann 27 December 1799
---------------
Thomas Hammerton married Ann Gill 26 October 1749
children
Thomas bap. 22 August 1750 at Botley of Stoneham -
John bap 18 May 1752 at Botley of Stoneham -
Ann* bap 26 October 1753 at Botley of Stoneham (marries Samuel)
James bap. 10 April 1757 (he married Rebecca Smith 6October 1782)
Elizabeth bap. 15 May 1760 (married John Wilkins 13 May 1781)

Ann was seven years older than Elizabeth so is it possible she married circa 1774 her husband died
so that when she married Samuel she was no longer Ann Hammerton but Ann ? widow of ??
There could be missing entries in the register, I haven't found the deaths of the first two sons Thomas and John.

I had considered that Ann's marriage to Samuel Pallet may not have been her first but I can't find an earlier marriage for Ann nor can I find a Samuel Pallet in the right time frame.
I think the Hammertons lived in South Stoneham, probably in present day Hedge End, but often used Botley church as it was closer.
I think this is mystery that will not be solved.
