Title: Cashen/Cashin/Cushin
Post by: liz_veronica on Saturday 20 December 25 06:15 GMT (UK)
Hi I have been looking for some information on a family member. On ancestry it says his name is Thoma (which i'm suspecting is a spelling error) and his last name is Cushin/Cashin who was born around 1730. It says his spouse's maiden name was Brien and one son called Jeremiah (or Darby) Cashin and possibly another son called Dyonisius. I am going off of very little information but I'm hoping somebody might know something. I do have a birth, marriage and death document but it is to large to put in here.

There is a baptism transcribed on rootsireland for Denis Cashin, father Thomas, mother Margaret Brian. Killenaule parish 18 April 1747. Sponsor:Dermitius (Dermot) Ward.

Other children baptised for that couple: Mary 17 August 1749 (sponsors Michael Phelan and Honora ??); Lucia 17 July 1757 (Sponsors James Nugent, Catherine Mannin). There may be others of course.
