Fanny Williams b 1844, married William Ford 1877 in Bristol. William was a widower. William was born about 1838 in Monmouthshire, father John Ford. I can find very little about William before 1877. In 1881 he is living in Bedminster with his wife Fanny and step son Albert Williams age 13. In 1891 he is still living in Bedminster his step son is now Albert Ford age 23.
I would like to know who his first wife was.
Any help would be appreciated.

You omitted to tell us that he was a sawyer born around 1834/5 in Dingestow, Monmouthshire.
In 1871 he is in Bedminster with a wife Mary born circa 1838/9 in Wilton, Wiltshire.
