Happy Christmas to you all, its been awhile since my last visit due to computer hacking. Searching for Mark Dewberry of Woodwalton he was buried here. I am still trying to find his wife Mary who was buried in Stibbington I have never found their marriage date. Mark married a Katherine after Mary passed away. I was sent a message from a searcher from Cambridge Chronicles 30/4/1824. A Mark Duberly, pauper native of Castor apprentice to a brother (carpenter) 3 years he stayed apprentice, no premium was paid produced in court. I know the names can change over time. Would love to find this person as the ancestor line finally settles in N.S.W. Australia and were carpenters. :-\

Have you found when his sister Maria arrived in Australia?
It is possible Mark is the son of James and Sarah (not Mary) bap 1808 at St Pancras. -he is 43 on the passenger list.
Does his death certificate have the names of his parents?
-
Hello amondg I need to check this, its been awhile since I have searched the records, I am putting them in a bigger folder. I think I have the death certificate. :-[

I had doubted that immigration record because of the area but if it is a possibility, there is this marriage:
St Pancras Church, London
11th August 1828
Mark Dewbery of this parish and Charlotte Ferguson, of this parish
Both signed their names
Witnesses M Dewbery X and Thos Cooper

1851 census - Mark and Charlotte Dewbury

Good morning Jan,
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve with this post now.
You already had the information we have found with Mark being born in Saint Pancras.
The newspaper article refers to Mark as a native of Castor.
There is a death in 1838 for James Dewberry, 58 yrs, College Street which may be James, the father.
Also 1839 for Mary, 53 yrs, Little College Street.
We know that James Dewberry married Mary Hall as bachelor and spinster, in 1814.
Mark’s baptism shows mother as Sarah. It could be that ‘bachelor’ was an error in that 1814 record.
However, from census records, there are two Marks - one in St Pancras and one in Wood Walton.
