I have in my family tree a marriage between William Brandish and Margaret Toomey on 23 June 1818 and at one time I had not only found the entry of such a marriage but had printed a copy of it. Now quite a few years later I can find neither the entry nor my printed copy which seems to have got lost in house moves and computer upgrades!
I wonder if anyone can access the necessary records to find this and either let me know where I can find it or at least let me know the source. I noticed under the resources for Galway here on RootsChat that church records were mentioned so I followed the link to St. Nicholas Collegiate Church but I only get an error code.
I recorded this marriage on my family tree at the time so I'm sure it did exist!
Thanks for any help.

Looks like RootsIreland has transcripts for this parish. Subscription site.

I can’t see images of the register anywhere.
The link didn’t quite work, choose Galway West from the drop down list.

St. Nicholas Catholic Galway is on the NLI wbsite (https://registers.nli.ie/#home_map) as several separate parishes, St. Nicholas South & West, St. Nicholas North etc. - no sign that I could see of that marriage in any of these.
If the marriage was church of Ireland then it might be included in RootsIreland - there's also a Church of Ireland St. Nicholas in Galway, and they seem to cover transcript for that time.
