I'm trying to find information on a great-grandaunt of mine and her family.
Her name was Margaret Brew (nee Farrell) she was born on 17 SEP 1901 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. She died sometime in Dublin in JAN 1946.
She married a mam named Theobald Taaffe Brew on 25 Aug 1937 in Canices, Finglas, Dublin, Ireland. He was born on 26 DEC 1895 in Cappagh, Kilrush, Co. Clare, Ireland. He was from the Church of Ireland. Was told he died in 1967 in Liverpool (but the family member can't be sure of that)
I was told they had a daughter called Stella Brew don't no much about her my dad's cousin said her dad told her that he thought Stella was killed/murdered in Liverpool. Don't no if that's true or not.
I am wonder if someone can help find info on all 3 of them hopefully someone might.

Copied from other post
There is a probate entry for a Theobold (aka Thomas) Brew of Liverpool who died 27 November 1967 on the government probate index

No marriage or death for a Stella Brew in England. If she married in Ireland then came to England - you would need to find her married name to find a death
Stella must have been born between 1937-1946 so any marriage would be in the late 1950’s onwards.
If her father died 1967 - a copy of his will may name her as a beneficiary if she was still alive at that time. It will also (hopefully) show if she was married & her married name but that’s dependant on when the will was made
Have asked for posts to be merged as duplicate posts result in a lot of wasted effort

The probate does not name Stella so I'm guessing she was died by then

Do you mean the probate index or do you mean the actual probate paperwork?

I've look at the England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1995.
I can't seem to get the image up

All that tells you is who was granted probate. Relatives and friends might be mentioned in the Will but person granted probate could be a solicitor, business partner, trusted friend, professional person (bank manager, teacher, etc).

You will have to purchase the will to get the details, the price for this has recently gone up to £16. There is also a delay in issuing them as many people rushed to purchase them at the old price of £1.50 and are still waiting to receive their orders

If that will had gone to probate in 1967 we would have the names of the executor(s) on the calendar entry.
Thomas Brew was buried at Anfield Cemetery, consecrated section, 30 November 1967.
Age 74
Private grave, section 3 grave 2839
1694 BREW. (C.3.2839)
A rough wooden cross with a small plaque. In loving memory / of / Thomas BREW / died 26 Nov 1967 / R.I.P
Details of memorial inscription are from here

He could be the Thomas Brew at 101 Haven Road on the 1967 electoral register
There was a lady called Stella at the same address, with her husband.
Can't name her, she may still be alive.
Her maiden name wasn't Brew, don't know exactly who she was (is?) though. In 1956 she was a young voter (soon to be eligible)
On the register for 1969 that same couple from 101 Haven are now listed at 153 Scarisbrick Road!
And curiously in 1969 the couple who were previously at 153 Scarisbrook are at 101 Haven Road! Did they swap?
Qualifying dates are October of the previous year.

The Stella that jonwarrn mentioned is still in Liverpool but at a different address on electoral registers in 2011. There is also a family member listed with her to the same date. I cannot see a death for this person

Looked at other England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1970 for 101 Haven Road
From 1965-1966 Stella is listed just with her husband
In 1967 Thomas Brew is listed with them
In 1968 Stella is listed as living there with here husband
From 1969 to 1970 they live at 153 Scarisbrick Road
153 Scarisbrick Road was were Thomas Brew lived I think he was just staying with Stella at 101 Haven Road and then went back home to 153 Scarisbrick Road before he died on 27 Nov 1967.

You could be right it was my dad's cousin's father who said she might be died. But then he probably just said that because she moved to Liverpool with her dad and was never heard from
