I'm trying to find information on a great-grandaunt of mine and her family.
Her name was Margaret Brew (nee Farrell) she was born on 17 SEP 1901 in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. She died sometime in Dublin in JAN 1946.
She married a mam named Theobald Taaffe Brew on 25 Aug 1937 in Canices, Finglas, Dublin, Ireland. He was born on 26 DEC 1895 in Cappagh, Kilrush, Co. Clare, Ireland. He was from the Church of Ireland. Was told he died in 1967 in Liverpool (but the family member can't be sure of that)
I was told they had a daughter called Stella Brew don't no much about her my dad's cousin said her dad told her he thought Stella was killed/murdered in Liverpool. Don't no if that's true or not.
I am wonder if someone can help find info on all 3 of them hopefully someone might.

There is a probate entry for a Theobold (aka Thomas) Brew of Liverpool who died 27 November 1967 on the government probate index

Thanks I have deaths for both Margaret & Theobald Brew. All I need is info on there daughter Stella Brew (I'm thinking it might not have been her real name a thing in my family was to call someone by a nickname or someother name)

There's also a marriage in Dublin Registrar's Office on 10 November 1934 between Margaret Farrell and Theobald Brew. (Mixed marriage?) Witnesses were William George Brew and Helena Mary Brew.

Your original post did not indicate that you knew exactly when Margaret died.

Well I was told she died sometime in Jan 1946 but my Gran who told me wasn't sure of the date just that it was Jan 1946

When Margaret died, her death notice has no mention of her daughter, deeply regretted by Theobald, brothers and sisters, buried Calvery Cemetery

So judging by that her daughter died before her
-
I do have two old photos of Stella Brew on the back of one of them is stamped -1 Jan 1940 I believe/think that was when it the photo was developed
-
What age -about- is she on that photo?
-
Here's the photo
-
She doesn't look any older then 11 or 12 years old in this photo
-
There's no child called Brew born to a Farrell mother between 1937-1946 in Ireland, England, Wales or Scotland. Can't check NI for that period online.
However, there is a death of a Stella Bray in 1942, aged 1 in Liverpool. You can purchase a copy of that death for £3 on the E/W GRO site - just to rule it out.

What am I missing here?
Photo of Stella Brew shows her much older than 1 year old so she clearly couldn't be the above death registration.
Additionally, FreeBMD shows a Liverpool birth in July/Sept. 1941 quarter for a Stella Bray with mother's maiden name as McTigue.
-
I was just showing that was the only death that even vaguely matched the name. I didn't think it was her.
-
Margaret married Aug 1937, the photo of the child is dated just over 2 years later in Jan 1940.
So either that photo isn’t Stella or she wasn’t born Brew so her death may not be registered as Brew.

She looks much younger than that to me.
Could she have been born before the marriage?
Was she raised by the couple?
-
Could the photo be of the lady mentioned in your other thread. Theobald is in the same household as her and her husband in the electoral registers.
She was born in the right period.

All I can say is what my dad's cousin told me and she heard it from her dad but by the way she told me she wasn't sure if what her dad told her was true or not
