JAMES MORDY /MORTY KINAHAN died on 7 Mar 1916 after serving as a Drummer with the Hampshire Regiment.
Aged 40, he was the husband of Mary Kinahan of Lower Brook Street, Winchester. His Pension Card lists 3 children - William John, Leo Thomas and Leonard. James' death was registered in Winchester.
He was medically discharged on 12 May 1915.
James Kinahan's death was attributable to his wartime service and he is entitled to War Grave commemoration -if proof of burial can be established.
Does anyone know where this soldier is buried?
Any information would be warmly welcomed.
