I'd appreciate any thoughts for a date for this photo of a shoemaker/cobblers shop, believed to be in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Any suggestions most welcome. Thank you.

The window shows "WOOD-MILNE REVOLVING HEELS".
The earliest newspaper advert I can spot is 4 Jan 1902

Wood-Milne was established in 1896 and was acquired by another company in 1924 (although that doesn't mean that they changed the name of the company).
Added: according to the linked article their works was on Golden Hill Lane in Leyland:

I think a company from Preston (Roberts?) obtained the licence to manufacture the Wood-Mine Revolving Heel" around 1904/5?

Thanks for all your comments.
Treetotal - I'm trying to help the FB poster in her family research.
Before posting, I did some research into Wood-Milne name and dates but couldn't find anything conclusive. However, it does appear that Wood-Milne was used as a trade name from mid-1890s before the Wood-Milne company was formed c.1907.
