When I try and go on to the Family Search website I keep getting an error message see attached photo. Nothing happens when I try and refresh, has anyone else got the same problem?
-
Working fine for me via https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/ . Do you have another browser you could try opening it on?
-
You may have the same problem as me. Family Search recently updated some of their site. If your phone or computer isn’t up to date it will no longer be able to show much of their content. I can view on 5 year old phone but not on 8 year old computer.

My computer is older than 8 years old and I have no problem with the site. Here's the link I use- https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/

Are you using a link that you have or are you using a search to find a link?, because that screenshot looks as if you have tried to open an app that you don’t have installed, which may have appeared as a helpful (i.e. unhelpful) suggestion when you searched.

I get onto the familysearch.org site first time of trying.
I only type "www.familysearch.org" and there is an automatic add-on which takes me straight to the website
"https://www.familysearch.org/en/home/portal/ "

Hi, that is usually what I get when a site is trying to be “helpful”.
I presume this is on something other than a windows PC?
There is usually an option to continue on the web?

As far as I can see “familysearch tree” is an app for mobile phones both Apple and android, it seems to be promoted by genealogy sites.
Just go to familysearch.org as others have said, it works for me at this moment

I had been doing what I have always done and just typed Family Search I tried various results and all where the same. I have tried Rena’s https://www.familysearch.org/en/home/portal/ however and that has worked so thank you.
