I found an article about Margaret Johnston who was arrested for killing her brother-in-law Joseph Johnston. The article was in the Weekly Examiner and Ulster Observer, Belfast, Oct 25, 1879.
Would like to know more about the trial and results, and the family.

Yes, mckha489, the first article is the last part of the article that I found. So now we know that she was out on bail according to the Northern Whig on Nov 7. Great.
So the trial was after that.
Thanks for your help.

Would it be possible to get a link to the trial on March 20, 1880? I don't have a subscription to findmypast.
Thanks
