With regard to Walter George I assume his relationship broke down with Lily some 9 months prior to the birth of Ernest, these children being the sons of "lodger in 1911 census"

I saw the late baptism 1881 and wondered if she was ill but could not find a death.
John Martin is such a common name although Rachel for a wife is not. There were a lot of us Martins
in Norwich mostly dyers/weavers or in the shoe trade.

Good Morning
you're not going to like this.
The marriage for Walter Martin to Lily Beatrice Lusher at St Peter's Norwich 11.4.1898 says his father is Henry box maker.(parents Henry born 1848 and Sarah born 1853 Heigham)
It looks like Walter George died as a baby June qtr 1872 Norwich age 2
And I think Arthur James probably went the same way .There is a death for a James Martin in Sep 1872 Norwich age 0 which may well be him.
Sorry if Walter was your man .

No he is not my direct relative.
Thank you for finding that information, I'll correct it right away

My ancestor is a brother of John Theodore Cornelius Martin, Frederick William Martin (1833).
Cleaning up files on distant relatives, research done pre internet.
So Anna Maria/Hannah Maria 1859- ? is the only on unaccounted for.
