Including *NEW* wartime photos, records, and maps as well as other updates. (https://www.findmypast.com/blog/new/wartime-records-maps)
Use your normal country-specific site.
Note the Terms and Conditions for Free Access Offers (https://www.findmypast.com/help/articles/4411067029777-9-free-access-free-weekends) and a Fair Usage Limit of 200 records per 24 hours (https://www.findmypast.com/help/articles/4411067042577-11-fair-usage), which I found last time was actually reset by 1am the following day regardless of when I hit it (or maybe that was when I first started). 200 should be enough for most purposes, but I was doing an extensive newspaper search.
I can't see a closing time stated, but previously it has been given as 23:59 on the closing day, so this year Thursday 13th. Last time actually went off at 10:00 on the following day but on other occasions at 10 am on the closing day.
You need an account (you can get free one with no card details taken on registration). You do not need to click on the orange Start Free Trial box.
As always with free periods, save anything of interest on your own device, as you'll need a sub to see it online after the offer closes.
Note that some of these records are free at all times on FindMyPast or elsewhere, including some of the newspapers, so check before using up too much midnight oil or your record quota.
WATCH THIS SPACE FOR DETAILS OF ANCESTRY'S REMEMBRACE OFFERS, ENDING ON 12th.

Thanks for the heads up Chris. :)

Thanks Chris, good to know!

I have been waiting for this but it doesn’t seem to be giving me free access without signing up for the free seven day trial.

The 'free' records are a much more restricted set compared to previous years - for example UK census records aren't free this time.
Are you sure the records you are looking for are included in the offer? If they aren't then you do get taken to a pay/subscribe page.

The FAQ's say "...from 10:00 GMT on Friday 7 November to 23:59 GMT on Thursday 13 November."

Shucks! I started a month's sub a week ago ... :(

Probably it was the newspapers I was mainly wanting access to.

There are some limited free newspaper records which, it says, are free for today.
-
Thanks I will have a look.

All I can find are records from the Great War.

Pretty underwhelmed by both of them this year.
